The Henry Millers are a New York based band featuring the boy-girl duo of John MacCallum and Katie Schecter. Their alluring mix of modern synthesizer driven experimentation and pop music reminds the listener of past art collaborations that can only happen in New York.

John MacCallum: bandleader, songwriter, synth-geek, lead singer and guitarist was born and raised in New York. Katie Schecter is John’s female counterpart, always singing with a magnetic smile. John and Katie knew each other for years before they decided to start recording music together, allowing a wonderful friendship to develop into beautiful musical partnership. Katie’s unique voice has a character that helps set the music apart from other bands and her combined leadership with John is what truly defines The Henry Millers as a whole. John and Katie love to laugh, sing songs, and have staring contests.

The Henry Millers have played gigs to packed crowds at Rough Trade, The Brooklyn Bowl, Mercury Lounge, The Studio at Webster Hall, and many more in and around New York City.
